May 7th: Carmina Burana with Orchestra

Carl Orff’s masterpiece is beautiful, bold, mysterious, bawdy, satirical, and sensuous.Join us on this musical journey presented with our 70-member chorale, full orchestra, soloists, and children’s choir.  We are pleased to feature talented soloists Kirsten Ashley Wiest, soprano; Jacob Hall, tenor; and Steven Amie, baritone.  Students from the San Jacinto Valley Academy Choral Program, directed by Zoe Peterson, will serve as the children’s choir.

Many thanks to all who made our concert performance of Ragtime, the Musical, a tremendous success, starting with Artistic Director Dr. Joseph Modica, who’s vision delivered a powerful performance enjoyed by over 400 people on March 5.  Kudos to our talented soloists, orchestra, pianist Sophie Tait, Tribe of Judah guest choir, and the entire Chorale.  May we all ride on the “Wheels of a Dream” in search of Hope, Peace, and Justice for all.
